Lenovo Yoga 920 vs Yoga 910

Lenovo released the new Yoga 920  as an upgrade to the  Yoga 910. We took a good look at both laptops and have a list of what is really new.  You have to have something that worth upgrading to. The yoga 920 maybe new, but does it have the specs that is worth upgrading for?  . For each new change we will decide if it was worth it .... Lets find out.

#1 Yoga 920 Camera Location Change

Awesome or not? AWESOME!

We think that this change was one of the best change they made on the yoga 920 laptop. This is because the yoga 910 camera location was at the bottom of the screen. This  made is impossible to record a video without the camera looking up your nose. This was the most irratiing feature on the yoga 910 . I swear to God it drove me crazy that I chose not to even use the yoga 910 camera.

Now the yoga 920 camera sits on the right location which is at the top of the display screen. This gives you the right eye to camera contact .This is how video chat was meant to be.

#2  Increased Display Sensitivity for Stylus Use : The Yoga 910 was not a terrible laptop to use your stylus with. However the yoga 920 now has an increased screen sensitivity technology that will allow a digitized stylus like their Lenovo Active pen to perform a bit more accurately.
  AWESOME OR NOT ? AWESOME

Although the Yoga 910 is  still great with the right stylus use. This is just an additions that is not  a neccesity.

#3  One Extra Thunderbolt Port :
AWESOME OR NOT? AWESOME

This isn't exactly a hooray moment for the yoga 920. However, we could all use an extra port whether thunderbolt or not. A lot of companies are getting ride of these ports at a time when we all still depend on these ports to get through the day.

We would have preferred an extra USB 3.0  as well as a thunderbolt. To us , more ports , less stress. Check out our video on accessories you need for your yoga  on Youtube. Click here.
